    Hello Zaman,

    I try since a moment to implement my own database in an Android project using the SQLite, I can copy my database into the system but I have a problem when I execute an SQL request. I just follow Ur following https://zaman91.wordpress.com/2010/09/22/android-how-to-use-own-sqlite-database/ but I have still some problem, when I launch my application, she stopped unexpectely. Just want to know what you have in your main class in order to call the search() function and what you have in you main.xml.
    Thank you very much.

    Hi Thomas,

    You recheck your code, and make sure that there is no method call of object which is null. That may cause to stop application unexpectedly.

    1. You should create an instance of MyDbHelper class such as
    MyDbHelper db = new MyDbHelper(…);

    2. then call db.search(…);

    Thanks,
    Zaman
